This release delivers a major round of gameplay tuning, expanded presentation, and system improvements aimed at making Merlin’s Arcade™ feel more responsive, reliable, and polished across every play session. Merlin Multiball has been reworked for better accessibility and clarity, knight battles have improved flow and ball-save behavior, and combo and scoring systems have been refined for more intentional play.

Presentation has been enhanced with new callouts, music, lighting updates, and stronger ball lock feedback, while the end-of-game experience now includes a full match sequence and improved leaderboard integration. Operators benefit from reorganized maintenance tools, expanded hardware tuning, persistent credits, and a new in-game mini service mode.

Across the board, this update significantly improves stability, ball handling, auto-launch behavior, and edge-case reliability, along with numerous fixes and polish improvements throughout gameplay, UI, and system operation.

This release significantly expands the game with fully configurable replay and leaderboard rewards, a new cooperative play mode with shared progress, enhanced Shadow Lane behavior, and the debut of the Oni Nisshoku wizard mode unlocked by defeating all bosses, enabling full game completion and the Dragon Kami. Gameplay polish includes improved ball-save feedback, added multiball protection, new light shows and boss death animations, refined callout priorities, and better moment-to-moment clarity. The update also delivers substantial stability and performance improvements—resolving rare hangs, crashes, multiball issues, player-data mix-ups, lighting and UI bugs, and Wi-Fi connectivity problems—along with memory optimizations and immediate application of hardware settings. On the operations side, the release introduces a cleaner, reorganized settings layout, an overhauled payment system, improved audits and charts, expanded update management, reduced log noise, mirrored dual-HDMI and audio outputs with independent volume controls, new slingshot power and shooter-lane auto-launch options, and quality-of-life enhancements for operators, streamers, and tournament use.
